Sara’s art works have inspired her surroundings, and the rhythms of everyday life. The pieces she has created originated in her soul in response to the seen and unseen worlds. The arts, which she paints and sculpts finished piece are part of her, her thoughts, reflections, responses, hopes and prayers…She always has been thinking deeply about ways to build her own capacity as a mother and an artist. She wants her art to affirm and celebrate her identity as an African woman…womanhood that, at its core, holds what is beautiful, sacred and the principles and practices of communal life.
